Save The Date: Ocean Communications Symposium

Ocean ISU

Registration for the Communications Symposium has now closed and we are unable to accept further applications.

We received a huge volume of interest, with over 250 registrations for the 60 places available. We are unable to offer virtual participation in the event, however we have planned two webinars in May to share findings and insights with those who were not present. Further information on the webinars will be made available soon.

Thank you for your interest in the Communications Symposium Satellite Event on 8-9th April in Barcelona, on the sidelines of the UN Ocean Decade Conference.

The Symposium will support the development of ocean-climate communication best practice guidelines and associated resources as part of the Project ‘Advancing Strategic Ocean Communication’. It will be a place to meet fellow communications professionals from across the world, and to exchange experience and expertise.

In partnership with Communications INC, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and IOC-UNESCO, ‘Advancing Strategic Ocean Communication’ is a collaborative, research-led project to gather evidence and co-produce ocean-climate communications guidance.

To register your interest in the Communications Symposium Satellite Event, please fill out the following form.

Please note that the symposium has a limited capacity. Registering your interest does not guarantee attendance at the event. Attendance at the Communications Symposium will not require approved registration to the UN Ocean Decade Conference.
